Walt Disney Pictures has confirmed today that James Franco and Mila Kunis will both star in OZ The Great And Powerful. The film, to be directed by Sam Raimi will be a prequel to the classic Wizard Of Oz story. In Raimi's version Franco will play a traveling snake oil salesman who whisked of to the land of Oz in a hot air balloon accident. There he must contend with three sister witches who are in control of Oz. Mila Kunis is set to portray Theodora, the youngest of the three sister witches. Still very little news on this film, but the casting of Franco is a step in the right direction with Robert Downey Jr. and Johnny Depp both passing on the role. However, Franco could be the right man for Raimi. Raimi and Franco previously worked together on all three of his Spider-Man films.
