This Friday, March 11th Disney releases "Mars Needs Needs Moms." The release marks the swan song for Image Movers Digital, the motion capture production company started by Robert Zemeckis. The company was effectively shut down by Disney last year after extremely disappointing showing of "A Christmas Carol" and widespread dislike of the motion capture animation by most audiences. However, even if you don't like the "Dead Eyes" of most of the characters, IMD does know how to make a solid movie. Mars Needs Moms does look like it could be a fun ride, as illustrated by this collection of clips from the film. Even if it does only barely resemble the Berkley Breathed book it's based on...anyway.
