We reported back in January that a Dutch blog had blown the cover off of Pixar's plan to make Monster Inc 2 a prequel with a story following Mike and Sully during their days at college. Turns out all of it was true. Last week at Wonder Con, San Francisco's answer to Comic Con, Disney announced that Monsters University would be the title of the new film and that audiences will be able to see it in November of 2012. It was also announced that Dan Scanlon, director of the CARS short Mater and the Ghostlight and a story artist on CARS & Toy Story 3 would be taking the helm. Unfortunately we received word today that Monsters University will be pushed back March 2013. It seems that Pixar has stepped up the project Reboot Ralph, the story of an antiquated 80's style video game character who struggles to break into modern day video games.
