It doesn't matter what people say about The Rocketeer. It's one of my all time favorite movies. It isn't perfect. In fact, it isn't even exactly great. The Rocketeer is just a good solid popcorn movie. An homage to adventure movies of days gone by. A movie I am proud to have both on DVD and on my PS3 hard drive. On June 21st, D23 will be hosting The Rocketeer 20th Anniversary Celebration at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. Complete with screening and a Q&A panel with cast and crew from the film. The Panel will be hosted by Kevin Smith... Wait, that Kevin Smith is moderating a Disney event? I officially live in bizzaro world. Anyway if you're going to be in the Los Angeles area on the 21st and want to celebrate this neo-adventure classic, you can get tickets at the D23 Website.
