It has been a couple months since we last brought our Fan Art Friday feature, but this week we have a really great reason to get back to it. You might say that MagicCityMayhem.com is something of a 'brother site' to ours. We have had an extremely cooperative relationship with Mikey for years. That Disney based relationship of convenience has blossomed into a friendship that I value very dearly. So you might say we are a little biased, but we LOVE Mikey's art work. It's clever and original and he always approaches each piece of artwork from an unexpected frame of mind. Take for instance, the above picture with Dreamfinder, the former central character of the Journey Into Imagination attraction at EPCOT. In this piece, he seems like a vengeful animatronic who may have just come up with an idea to get himself back into his old attraction.
In these next two pictures, the humor is wry and downright clever. The Seven Dwarves get a note from Snow White telling them not to rush home because Snow has invited over the other Disney Princesses for a little get together. Yeah, I am sure those little guy's decided that some overtime was needed in the mines. NOT. The other image is a silly little tribute to three animatronic figures at Disney World, who just found themselves unemployed...
