With only a few days left in 2011, we are solidly looking forward to 2012. Of course we are also looking forward to the biggest cross-over-super-film in motion picture history. You know, The Avengers. Okay, so that may be over stating the overall importance of the film in the pantheon of film history, but there are many MARVEL fans who view the upcoming film as a cinematic monolith and are anxiously awaiting any tiny new glimpse of the movie. It is for those awesomely obsessive fans that we bring to you this little bit of awesomeness.
This all new trailer comes to us from Russia and while it is largely a re-edit of the domestic trailer for the film, it contains two major additions. The first is a brief encounter between Black Widow(Scarlet Johansson) and Bruce Banner(Mark Ruffalo) a.k.a The Hulk. The second is a brief set of dialog between Loki(Tom Hiddleston) and Tony Stark(Robert Downey Jr.) that begins when Stark's voice over begins to describe the individual traits of The Avengers. Both of these additions are clips taken from the footage that we saw at the Walt Disney Studio's Presentation at the D23 Expo in August.
