George Lucas On 'Daily Show' Explains How 'Red Tails' Is Like 'Star Wars'

While STAR WARS fans consistently complain about George Lucas' tendency to update and change those films, what they may not realize is, George always thinks big. In this weeks appearance on Comedy Central's 'The Daily Show' George Lucas speaks with Jon Stewart about his upcoming film Red Tails, the story of America's first African-American fighter pilots in WWII. He talk's about the film and how it took nearly 25 years to make, and how Hollywood exec's weren't exactly knocking down his door to distribute the film.

Lucas also goes on to explain how Red Tails is a lot like Star Wars. In the sense that the story of the Tuskeegee Airmen is a very long and detailed one. A story that Lucas says intends to extend into two more films if Red Tails is successful.
