Way, way, back in August of 2010. That was when we first told you about this all new wave of mash-up action figures that cast classic Disney characters as characters from the Star Wars universe. That was at Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando Florida, just about a year and a half ago. Finally, this new set of toys is about be unleashed at Disney Parks retail stores inside the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. The above images and more, were released via the Disney Parks Blog, and the full article gives a little bit of an explanation as to why it took so long for these much coveted figures to be released to the public. However, we must remember that the delay isn't without precedent as the StarSpeeder 1000 action figure play set that was also announced at Star Wars Celebration V, was only just released at Disney Parks in December.
