FINALLY! The Lone Ranger RIDES!!! After nearly a year of on again, off again, budget drama, and other assorted controversy, we have the first official Image of The Lone Ranger. Here we finally get to see Johnny Depp as Tonto, and Armie Hammer as the masked Texas lawman himself. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and director Gore Verbinsky have been filming for a little over a week and thankfully, the results seem to to be positive. Depp's costume seems to be rather authentic an evokes a great sense of mystery that previous incarnations of the character have only hinted at. The Lone Ranger will continue production here in New Mexico for the next couple months and will be in theaters in May of 2013.
