Excitement Is Building For The 2012 ALBUQUERQUE COMIC EXPO! Starring Jay, Silent Bob, & Stan Lee

If it's Summer, It must be time for The Albuquerque Comic Expo. And if you were out at any local comic book retailer for FREE COMIC BOOK DAY, you probably ran into some one handing out fliers for it. 

For nearly 20 years Albuquerque didnt have any kind of comic book or pop culture exposition. Then in 2011, the city became the home to not one, but three separate events. With out a doubt, Albuquerque Comic Expo or ACE was the most surprising. Located downtown, in the Albuquerque Convention Center, the event featured a massive show floor, and was host to some truly amazing guests, most notably Stan 'The Man' Lee, Marina Sirtis, and Levar Burton. 

This year, ACE returns to the Albuquerque Convention Center and promises to be bigger and better! Legends Stan Lee and Lloyd Kaufman return, with the addition of show headliners, 'Jay and Silent Bob' themselves, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes.

ACE - Albuquerque Comic Expo Details

The Albuquerque Comic Expo is the southwest’s premier comic book, pop culture, and entertainment convention. ACE 2012 will take place June 8th-10th, 2012 at the Albuquerque Convention Center!

The show floor will be open 2pm-8pm on Friday, 10am-7pm on Saturday, and 10am-6pm on Sunday! We’ll also have panels and other events running the entire time, and some that go on after hours, too.

'JAY & SILENT BOB GET OLD' LIVE!

Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes will be podcasting “Jay and Silent Bob Get Old” live from the Kiva Auditorium on Saturday, June 9th at 8pm. This event is going to be ticketed separately from ACE, but will be a part of the show. Seating for this event is on a first come, first served basis (based on ticket sales!). Be sure to get your tickets early to ensure the best possible seating! Tickets are available right now!
