Disney Interactive Officially Announces DISNEY INFINITY 3.0 WIth Star Wars Franchise Taking Center Stage

In what feels like a rebuke of the blogosphere, Disney Interactive has finally released the announcement trailer for Disney Infinity 3.0. We say 'finally' because sources had indicated that the announcement was supposed to be yesterday on 'May The 4th Be With You.' However the trailer was held for today which is traditionally called 'Revenge Of The Fifth' a reference of course to the Sith and the darker side of the Force that tends to hold a grudge against those that they perceive as their enemies. Whether or not this is actually the case is insignificant next to the fact that everything that had been leaked about Disney Infinity 3.0 over the last couple weeks has been beautifully confirmed in a trailer that is less than a minute and a half long.

As you may have noticed the trailer doesn't just give you an eyeful of STAR WARS awesomeness it also confirms every bit of leaked information, including the addition of  the new modern looking Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

And lastly, Olaf everyone's favorite snowman from Disney's animated neo-classic FROZEN is confirmed in the final moment of the trailer with his truly adorable bad judgment.
