"Look Sir! Droids!" from Star Tours 2

On Friday the Disney Parks blog treated the Star Wars fanatics to a small sneak peek at some of the droid's you will see in Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, when it opens this spring at Disneyland & Hollywood Studios at WDW. As we previously reported, The new spokes droid for the ride will be a character called Aly-San-San. She is an WA-7 waitress droid, and aside from a new Star Tours paint job, is almost identical to the waitress droid seen in Star Wars Episode 2. The new Star Speeder 1000 pilot...Or actually the "Old" Star Tours pilot, but he is new to us... is AC-38 or Ace for short. Ace is the forerunner to the RX-24 droid or Rex that we have become so fond of from the Original Star Tours. Aside from his familiar looking head, Ace is as different from Rex as you can get. Apparently our new Star Tours pilot is far less inept as Rex. More to come from the Disney Parks Blog and DisFanReview.com as we inch closer to the spring opening of Star Tours 2.
