First Cockpit Images From Star Tours 2

The Disney Parks Blog has just updated with a new details Star Tours: The Adventures Continue. We now have the first images of the Starspeeder 1000's cockpit and more information on who will be piloting! A few weeks ago Disney introduced the new Star Tours pilot droid, AC-38. However we now know that while "Ace" is supposed to be the pilot, by the time the ship takes off C-3PO will be in the pilots chair. This actually explains a lot. This past August at Star Wars Celebration V, C3PO actor Anthony Daniels had an exceptionally large presence in the Disney Parks panel that was largely centered around Star Tours.

We also learn two other important pieces of news from this post. First, that Imagineer's will begin installing Audio-Animatronics figures in the Starspeeder cabins at Disneyland this week, and Hollywood Studios in November.

The last bit of information? Captain Rex from the original Star Tours attraction WILL be making this new voyage... More details to come...
