Forget 3-D, Nightmare Before Christmas Comes To Life In 4-D

It seems like every few years Disney re-releases the Tim Burton classic Nightmare Before Christmas for a special 3-D engagement. In fact I took my children to see one of those showings just a couple of years ago. Oh how I wish I could take them to this. From October 21st to the 31st Hollywood's historic El Capitan theater will be showing the film in a way that audiences have never seen...4-D. Now 4-D is something of a Disney invention, that fuses 3-D film with in theater elements like wind, fog, heat and smells. This same technique is commonly used at Disney's theme parks but has never been done in theater for a feature film. Now if you are in the Los Angeles are during this engagement you better scoop up tickets as fast as you can, because this event will sell out. For ticket's and information on how you can have a special "Pumpkin King Dinner" check out the El Capitan website.

Prep & Landing Return To ABC In 2010 & 2011 With New Adventures

Lanny,Wayne,Magee and the entire cast of characters from Disney's 2009 smash hit Christmas special will return this year and next with all new adventures! This holiday season ABC will of course re-broadcast the original P&L special with an all new 7 minute animated short called "Operation: Secret Santa." In 2011 the whole gang is back for a brand new half hour special called "Prep & Landing: Naughty Vs. Nice

“Operation: Secret Santa” which was written and directed by Stevie Wermers-Skelton & Kevin Deters, produced by Dorothy McKim, and executive produced by John Lasseter, will follow Santa’s secret agent elves, Lanny and Wayne as they are commissioned by Mrs. Clause(Betty White)to retrieve a mysterious item hidden deep within Santa's office!

"Prep & Landing: Naughty Vs. Nice" is a harder nut to crack. Details are slightly more scarce on this specific project but apparently a naughty boy is able to hack into Santa's Naughty & Nice list and Lanny and Wayne are called upon to save the day.

Prep & Landing" Return to ABC this fall.
