After rendering all six Star Wars films into the colorful building block world of Lego, it really was only a matter of time before they unleashed a Lego version of the Cartoon Network animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Sure there will be Star Wars fans that see this as yet another merchandising opportunity for LucasFilm that some how lessens the importance of their childhood memories of Star Wars or some equally silly accusation. Of course, none of that matters.
Because these Lego incarnations of successful film franchises have been unbelievably successful, and look to be well into the future, with Lego Star Wars 3 hitting store shelves on March 25th and Lego Pirates Of The Caribbean getting underway this summer.
