Today the all new, and presumably final Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides hit the net and in honor of it we have gathered together a small list of videos from the up coming film. The new trailer is chock full of new footage and our first solid look at the films story and some of the relevant sub plots. Something about the fountain of youth, Blackbeard, and Mermaids...Well thats what piqued my interest anyway. Alright, enough of my excitement. Here is the all new trailer...
This video is the very first trailer for the film. It's pretty standard. We get a look at the principal players and a tiny ides of the story. However, Pay considerable notice to the trailers intro by Jack Sparrow...The intro is actually kind of significant.We will get to why in a moment.
Here we have the first promotional featurette where Jerry Bruckheimer and crew talk up the next swashbuckling chapter in the Pirates saga. You may also have noticed that the same intro from the trailer was used in this video, with some editing alterations. You're probably thinking that they just edited down the intro from the trailer....
Well that is true. To the extent that Jack Sparrow's introduction from the trailer, is it self a much edited and chopped down version of a greeting from Captain Jack recorded in late June of 2010.
This greeting was played for hundreds of fans at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con. As you see there is a lot more to the entire message than most people have seen. It's a pretty cool viewing experience for the hard core Jack Sparrow and Johnny Depp fans and for pretty much anyone who enjoys the Pirates movies.
