this week we present video from the biggest event of the weekend. The big kick of Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studio's featuring the reopening of STAR TOURS! We kick off our collection with our exclusive trailer for the attraction. A lot of great footage in this one.
Our second video comes from "Our Man In Orlando" Mikey Mayhemstein of MagicCityMayhem. he was in attendance on Thursday night May 20th at the midnight invitation only "tweetup" that occurred at Hollywood Studios. Here you get a good look at the festivities held for the first "Official" riders of the all new Star Tours experience.
Here we have the official Disney Parks video of the attractions Grand Opening ceremony which took place on Friday May 20th. very cool event with a lot of celebrity appearances. One funny thing to note is how numerous sources reported that George Lucas would make a super secret, surprise visit to the event. Which by the very nature of the reports meant that his appearance was not at all secret.
By far the best walk through video we have seen has been this one from Attractions magazine. It is comprehensive and has some long and lingering shots of the attraction that will surely help to satisfy those fans who cannot ride this amazing attraction due to their distance from the Disney Parks. A distance that surely feels like it is in a galaxy far,far away.
Speaking of which... If you do live in the outer rim territories and it will be quite some time before you re-enter the core systems to take a ride on STAR TOURS and want to see what all the freaking out is about...
