It isn't uncommon that a film will have a wide release in foreign markets before they are released here in the US. Happens quite often. In fact, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows actually releases today in many markets but will releae on July 15th here in United States. However, Winnie The Pooh was released in many parts of Europe WAY BACK on April 15th.
With the magic of the global internet, that spring time marketing for Winnie The Pooh was available for consumption by a lot more than just the European audiences. In fact, we actually featured several Winnie The Pooh video's here on VIDEO MADNESS and elsewhere on DisFanReview during the week leading up to that April release.
Now, Winnie The Pooh is finally coming to America, and audiences are eager for his return. Unfortunately, Winnie isn't the only Brit trying take over US theaters this weekend. I here there is some other film about a boy wizard from England.
