This week we kick off a timely feature here at DFR. For the next few weeks we will be presenting a collection of the most memorable Walt Disney World commercials from the parks illustrious 40 year history. This week we begin in the middle of the parks history and present a series of commercials from the parks 25th anniversary.
These two commercials are very similar and share the "Can You Remember?" theme. The commercials showcase Disney World guests as they appeared during their first park visits and then shows them as they appear now... 'now' being circa 1996/1997. There are a couple notable 90's sport celebrity cameo's as well.
Our third video is taken from the Lion King VHS release. This commercial is one in a long series of Disney Parks commercial that amp cute and adorable to ridiculously high levels. However, no matter how corny or syrupy sweet these ads are they always have a tremendous effect. These are the kinds of commercials you never forget. Remember the one where the baby takes her first steps to Mickey Mouse? Yeah, this is that one.
