We told you that Disney was kick starting the John Carter hype machine. We were right. Heck, it's kind of obvious. Look at this very website, if you scroll down the main page it look's like Mars has taken over! Nevertheless, we have three all new videos including the full length trailer, that puts the cut down version aired on Good Morning America to shame. As well we have a video that serves as an introduction to one of the most obvious(and still terribly clever) PR stunts we have ever seen.
Fact of the matter is, this is the John Carter trailer we were waiting to see. The teaser trailer which was released over the summer, contained very little in the way of CGI and action shots. This one is awesome. We get a much better look at the alien Tharks and some of the crazy creatures that inhabit Barsoom a.k.a Mars. This pretty much blows away the footage we saw at the D23 Expo.
This video is the all new television ad for the film. Pretty much just a pared down version of the full length trailer. The same can be said for the footage contained in our next video, however this one is an introduction one of silliest PR stunt's we have ever heard of... and yet it is still seems undeniably clever.
Are you John Carter enough? No, I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to John Carter. Thats right, if your name is actually John Carter, then director Andrew Stanton and Disney would like to invite you to a super secret screening of the film... and the chance for adventure of a life time.
