
Back In July of 2010, documentary film maker Morgan Spurlock(Super Size Me, 30 Days) turned his camera's on the single largest celebration of pop culture in the world, the San Diego Comic-Con. Instead of putting himself in the middle of the chaos, Spurlock chooses to focus on a small group of fans and experiences this massive celebration of geek culture through their eyes. The film follows two aspiring comic book artists, a costume designer, a comic book retailer and more.
Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope is executive produced by MARVEL Comics legend Stan Lee, The Avengers director Joss Whedon, and AintItCoolNews.com proprietor harry Knowels. In addition to the fans eye view of San Diego Comic Con, the film also has several celebrity appearances. Including, Seth Rogen, Eli Roth, and Kevin Smith. Unfortunately, A solid release date for the film has yet to be announced, but one should be forthcoming.
