Some fans had expressed concern when Disney failed to air an ad for this summers cinematic offering from PIXAR during the Super Bowl. Their concerns seem to be unfounded as BRAVE is generating heavy buzz on Facebook, which has prompted Disney to push out all of these materials so quickly. BRAVE is PIXAR's first film of 2012. The film is set in the ancient highlands of Scotland and tells the tale of a young princess who must set things right after her own actions jeopardize her entire world. In addition to the new character poster that features the films heroine Princess Merida(voiced by Kelly MacDonald) Disney has overhauled the official BRAVE website, and released what they are calling the second full trailer for the film.

The trailer is actually a 2 and a half minute clip from the film that we first saw at the D23 Expo back in August 2011. This version is absolutely gorgeous compared to the 'working' version we saw that was still incomplete and contained various stages of animation. It really is quite amazing to see this sequence finally completed.
Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane). Merida's actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Wise Woman (voice of Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it's too late.
Directed by Mark Andrews (The Incredibles, Ratatouille, John Carter of Mars) and Brenda Chapman (The Lion King, Prince of Egypt), and produced by Katherine Sarafian (Lifted, The Incredibles), Brave is a grand adventure full of heart, memorable characters and the signature Pixar humour enjoyed by audiences of all ages. BRAVE hits theaters on June 22nd 2012
