WOW. The past 48 hours have been absolutely crammed with new images and video for John Carter. While there are many who are very excited for the film's release, Disney wants to make sure that everybody gets a chance to see what is in store! Now they have released three new clips that, in addition to the clip released yesterday, gives us a more balanced look at what the film holds in store for audiences when the film is released on March 9th.
This first clip was screened for fans at the D23 Expo last August. This is actually a tid-bit of a longer sequence when Tars Tarkas and John Carter first meet. John understand's Tars name right away, But Tars Tarkas has a little trouble getting past the word 'Virginia.'
This clip was also shown at the D23 Expo. In this scene John Carter is being held captive when a dog like creature is sent to keep an eye on him. This is the first meeting between John Carter and what will soon be his new companion, a Martian hound named Woola.
In this clip, Dejah Thoris explains to John Carter where in the solar system he is. As she shows him an image of the sun and works the line of planets back to her planet of Mars, or Barsoom... John carter begins to realize he is not in Arizona... or even Earth anymore.
