We have been waiting all weekend for NBC's variety-competition show America's Got Talent, which aired this evening. I couldn't care less about the show. I was waiting for something %1000 better. I was simply working away on the laptop with the volume down on the TV, waiting for the 4 minute preview of Amazing Spider-Man, which NBC had been promoting on the network for over a week.
As it turns out, the opening scene in this preview was well worth waiting through 3/4 of America's Got Talent. We have seen a lot of preview footage from the film at various events, and this was the first time we have seen the clip of Spidey saving the kid in the car. This is a classic Spider-Man scene. This right up there with some of the best scene's in the Sam Raimi trilogy and truly captures the spirit of Spider-Man & Peter Parker, character's beloved by generations of readers.
That scene is the first half of the preview. The second half is essentially an extended version of the latest trailer for the film that debuted on The Avengers. However, there is plenty of new stuff to make it worthy of multiple viewings. Which is good, because it just hit the internet!
Lucky for you, you do not have to sit through the twice aforementioned television program that features some of the most irritating personalities in pop-culture. You can watch the epic 4 minute preview for Amazing Spider-Man, right here. Right now.
