Typically, Star Wars Weekends is the biggest 'FORCE' related event to hit the Orlando area. This year however, just like 2010, Orlando is playing host to the massive Star Wars Celebration VI. Yet, this years Star Wars Weekends will be an amazing lead in to all of the madness set to hit in late August. So many of the most coveted Star Wars items will make their first debut at during this multi-week event.
What kind of goodies are to be had at Star Wars Weekends? Well, we got our hands on the all new park map for the event, and there is a lot here to get any Star Wars fan more excited than an Ewok drinking Mountain Dew!
The second series of Disney's Star Wars Vinylmation makes it's official debut at the event, and and all new action figure set called DROID FACTORY allows you to build your very own R2-D2 style AstroMech droid, with all kinds of cool Disney extras like a set of Mickey ears, or a Goofy hat that your droid can wear.
