As always, a big film release always seems to have an equally important trailer attached to it. As Disney and MARVEL's The Avengers hits theaters this weekend, it is joined by trailer for Dark Knight Rises and The Amazing Spider-Man. While the Dark Knight Rises trailer was given wide internet release on Wednesday, SONY is being a little more exclusive regarding it's cinematic relaunch of everyone's favorite web-slinger. On Thursday, Apple's iTunes Movie Trailer website debuted the all new trailer for Amazing Spider-Man, and the internet is a buzz with fan reaction. While some fans seem to be genuinely excited about the film and the prospect of finally seeing a big screen version of the Lizard, other seem genuinely concerned that Director Mark Webb's focus on Peter Parker's long lost parents is actually a mystery that fans were never really interested in.
The new trailer does seem to focus an awful lot on that mystery and frankly seems to ignore the beautiful Emma Stone who looks absolutely gorgeous as Spider-Man's long lost love from the comic books, Gwen Stacey. However, the trailer is full of new footage and shows us a lot more of Lizard, and of the all new Spider-Man suit. We even get a very funny new chunk of Spider-banter as we see Spider-Man being a complete wise-ass as a carjacker threatens him with a knife.
