Fan Art Friday 7/5/2013

Ahoy there! Today's Fan Art Friday showcases some of the talented artist Zifiela's works on Disney princesses. Each shows two princesses and the thing that played a huge part in their story. If it was a bad thing, a good thing, or something that showed them who they were, each princess found her happily ever after in the end.

For starters, Jasmine and Cinderella. The dreams of a broken girl forced to go above and beyond the responsibility of a normal teenager, and the wishes of a princess who only wanted to be loved. Ultimately both of these girls got what they want. The slipper fit, and the prince married the girl from the cinders. And the "Street Rat" showed how much of a shining Diamond in the Rough he was, bringing these two their happily ever afters.
True loves first kiss seems to be the cure for most things. Poison and deep spells as well. For Snow White, she was never taught not to talk to strangers apparently (Well, her mother figure was a jealous crazy woman, but still.) and Sleeping Beauty, or Aurora, was never taught to not play with glowing spindles! Besides the missed life lessons, these beauties faced the lethal adventure of poison. But as stated earlier, true loves kiss solves all the worlds problems. And these ladies had happy endings.
Ariel and Mulan are some of the fiercest ladies in Disney. I mean. Ariel left her family for love! Granted, we must all leave the nest eventually, but she gave her voice for Eric! She fought Ursula the crazy Sea Witch, and ultimately saved the entire ocean. Talk about sacrifice! Now Mulan went to war for her father, fought Shan Yu, and kicked the Huns butts, and not only saved the Emperor, but also the entirety of China! Completely aware that she could be killed if someone found out she was a girl. But she sacrificed her life for her family, and got lucky enough to find love! And these two found their happy and smiling ends. Ariel found her voice and her legs, and got her man, still managing to keep in touch with her family. And Mulan gained the respect of all of China, and her family, and the love of General Shang. The sacrifice was worth it.  In the end, I guess using magic, getting poisoned, loosing your voice, and joining the army pays off. Even in danger, Disney ladies are tough. And that's a well known fact. That's all for this week! Check back next Friday for more amazing Disney fan Art.
