Earlier this week we reported that pop culture retailers HOT TOPIC had pulled all of their issues of the MARVEL comics STAR WARS #1 variant from the shelves of all their local stores. Evidently someone at MARVEL had a change of heart about the back cover promotional image and has cleared the retail chain to once again sell the comic.
According to our sources, the HOT TOPIC corporate office sent an email to all of their outlet's this morning indicating that if store managers had not yet destroyed their issues of the comic that they were to return the comics to the store floor for immediate sale. So, if this issue is one of those must have variants you needed for your collection now is the time to grab it, because they won't last long.
