This morning the internet is abuzz with some pretty stunning MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE news. The much trusted movie spoiler site Latino Review has posted an interesting article that detaile the broad strokes of what will occur in MARVELs Phase 3 films and leads us to a pretty important detail that MARVEL fans have been dying to see. According to the rumor filled article, Sony and MARVEL have reached a deal that will allow Spider-Man to swing in to the MCU in AVENGERS: Infinity War part 1.
Why will it happen in Infinity War and not CAPTAIN AMERICA: Civil War? Well, for one that film is about to begin production in a matter of weeks and it seems that the deal was not reached in time to swing in through that window(pun intended). However, it seems that Spidey's presence will be absolutely necessary in term of MARVEL's Phase 3 story. What does that mean? Well we wont spoil the next 4 years worth of MARVEL movies for you here. Lastly, it also seems that MARVEL's Spider-Man will not be Andrew Garfield, but an all new actor taking on the Peter Parker role. Where this leaves the future of Sony's Spider-Man franchise is unknown. But if these rumors turn out to be true, the details will surely be presented in due time.
