VIDEO MADNESS: The Best 'STAR WARS: The Force Awakens' Fan Made Videos

For years VIDEO MADNESS was one of our favorite features here at DisFanReview, and now it's time to bring it back. Every week we will bring you a small collection of video's that have a connecting theme. This week, it's kind of obvious. Ever since the teaser trailer for STAR WARS: The Force Awakens hit back in late November, we have seen a steady stream of "tribute video." Creative? Absolutely. Fun and entertaining? Of course. Does it seem obsessive and a little scary to see this much fan effort? You be the judge.

While some STAR WARS fans fear that Disney may have a disrupting influence on the saga that they love so much, others have a completely different fear. That somehow George Lucas will be allowed in an editing booth with the new film and work his 'Special Edition' voodoo on it. This video is a hilarious representation of what that would look like. This video doesn't really need a lot of explanation. It's a LEGO-ized version of The Force Awakens trailer. Which by itself is cool. What's frightening is just how many of them there are. We counted at least 8 different versions with varying degree's of quality but we think that this is a decent representation of them all. 'Sweding' is a method of recreating film scenes with absolutely no budget, house hold materials, and a lot of imagination. The whole "Sweding" craze died out a few years ago, but when it's done right, it can still impress. Just like this video. Just when you thought you had seen all that could possibly be done with The Force Awakens trailer, we see this. A vibrant and eye-popping neon version that we didn't know we needed to see, but the world seems to be a much more magical place now that we've seen it.
