STAR WARS REBELS Season Two Trailer Revealed At STAR WARS CELEBRATION

This morning at Star Wars Celebration, Supervising director Dave Filloni and the entire cast of STAR WARS Rebels were on stage to show fans what is in store for Season 2! Vanessa Marshall, Freddie Prinze Jr., Steve Blum, Taylor Gray, and Tiya Sircar joined Filoni in a panel moderated by James Arnold Taylor who voiced Obi Wan Kenobi in STAR WARS: The Clone Wars.

                 

While the conversation with the cast was an entertaining occurance for fans, the real treat came when Filoni revealed to the audience and to the cast the first trailer for season 2 of REBELS. Which contained footage that even the cast hadn't yet seen. In the trailer we see the return of Asoka Tano(Ashley Eckstein) and clone Captain Rex(Dee Bradley Baker). Both actors joined the cast on stage and expressed their excitement to return to the Star Wars universe.

After the panel Dave Filoni along with producer Simon Kinsberg and the cast answered questions at a press conference that dwarfed similar events at previous STAR WARS Celebrations. Out of that conference came the news that Darth Vader will be voiced by none other than James Earl Jones for Rebels and that both Dave Filoni and Freddie Prinze Jr. don't have any intention of telling you anything new about the character that Prinze's wife Sarah Michelle Geller plays in the show. Filoni also revealed that a showdown between Asoka Tano and Darth Vader is definitely "part of the story we have to tell you."
