The guest list for the inaugural WIZARD WORLD ALBUQUERQUE has exploded. In addition to previously announced guests Lou Ferrigno, Edward James Olmos, and Joey Lauren Adams, the event has now added six additional television and film stars as well as four new superstars from the WWE.
Milo Ventimiglia may be best known for his turn as Peter Petrelli on the NBC series Heroes, he is also loved by generations of fans for his role as Jess on the cult classic Gilmore Girls and his role as Robert Balboa jr. in the now classic, Rocky Balboa. He was most recently seen on Fox's GOTHAM portraying Jason Lennon a.k.a. The Ogre.
Beloved sci-fi actress Jewel Staite is unforgettable...well, jewel in the industry. She is well known to fans the world over for portrayal of Dr. Jennifer Keller in Stargate: Atlantis and for her role as Caroline Swift on The Killing. Jewel became a Sci-Fi darling in 2002 when she portrayed Kaylee Frye in Joss Whedon's tragically classic television series Firefly, and the shows big screen spin-off Serenity.
Clifton Collins Jr. has been acting for a really long time. One of his early roles came in Fox's 1990 The Flash television series, and while he has some pretty serious acting credentials fans will best know him from his prominent roles in Sci-Fi and and action films. In 2009 he played Romuan Ayel, the second in command to the Nero in JJ Abrams STAR TREK reboot. In Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day he stared as Romeo, the crazy but loyal sidekick to the Murphy Brothers. But, sci-fi fans most recently saw him in Pacific Rim as OPS Tendo Choi.
Few may realize that Phil Lamar began his career in Pulp Fiction. He played Marvin, the poor hoodlum whose brains were accidentally sprayed all over the inside of the car by John Travolta's character Vincent. However, animation fans know him as the voice of Green Lantern John Stewart from the Justice League, Samurai Jack, and Hermes from Futurama. Star Wars fans will know him best as the voice of Kit Fisto and Bail Organa in The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels.
In addition to all of this talent Wizard World Albuquerque has also added Eddie McClintock from Warehouse 13, Taryn Manning from Orange Is The New Black and WWE Superstars The Bella Twins, and the Lucha Dragons.
