DisUnrelated: SAVE "Better Off Ted"

I find it Ironic that a television show about a Massive Corporation that is ambivalent towards it's employees is, itself in danger of being canceled by a large Corporate Television Network that seems to be ambivalent towards it's audience. ABC (which is owned by Disney)apparently does not have much faith in "Better Off Ted." A witty and well written satire about the inner workings of said massive corporation: Veridian Dynamics. Since this shows debut I have been an avid viewer. "Better Off Ted's" second season has had very little promotion from ABC and was used to fill the void of more favorable shows during the Christmas lull when no one is really watching TV anyway!!! Fueled by other Fan organized effort's like the fan campaign to save CHUCK! on NBC, which has resulted in a third season that seemed incredibly unlikely this time last year, "Better Off Ted" fans are taking action! The website www.SaveBetterOffTed.com has just launched and provides several different ways for fans to take action.

First, sign the petition which already has over a thousand signatures. Or send an email to ABC president Stephen McPherson with one of two images provided on the site, someone also mentioned sending packets of coffee creamer to ABC execs, which is an in show joke. Another, rather obvious way to support the show, is to watch it. In an effort to drive home their point, the organizers of the website are encouraging all "Ted Head's" to flock to Hulu or ABC.com on Wednesday January, 13th at 8:00pm( your local time, but more to the point, the time slot between ABC's The Middle and Modern Family.)and watch "Better Off Ted." The hope is that ABC exec's will put the dots together and see that the show would have a better chance to garner a strong audience if surrounded by equally funny, but slightly more popular shows. It is indeed sad to see that ABC has little interest in continuing this hilarious and fun show, and we hope that the fans can come together and save a show that truly deserves a second chance! Now, if you've never seen "Better Off Ted" here is a look at the latest episode. Watch, enjoy and then get active and help save "BETTER OFF TED" before it becomes like Gandhi, Y'know... Dead. (The "Gandhi" thing is also an 'in' joke from the show.)-Admiral Duke
