This week we had planned to start this mash-up themed Video Madness post with a Lilo & Stitch video that has the trailer of the film re-cut to have a very horror film feel. It's a great video, but imagine my frustration when I discovered yesterday morning that another Disney blog had discovered it as well and posted that same video as their lead story of the day. No problem, we decided not show that video but we found 3 others that are just as good if not better!
Christopher Nolan has cemented his reputation as a movie genius with films like Dark Knight and Inception. It just so happens that our first 2 videos have a lot to do with those films. First we ask the question, "What would Star Wars be like if Chris Nolan had a stab at it?" "Christopher Nolan's: Jedi Knight," a mash-up of video from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and the audio from Dark Knight is awesome.
The tile of this mash-up says it all; "Upception." I loved both movies and I really love how well this video was edited. A really fun watch.
Our third video has the same basic theme, a child friendly movie adapted to take on a much heavier feel. The motion Picture version of Watchman was a very adult comic book film that adapted the story of the most well known graphic novel in history. Here some creative editing helps us to see the world of Wall-E in a much dark way. Great,great video's this week
