And so it begins. As TRON:Legacy's ad campaign begins to see light at the end of the tunnel, Cars 2 is just beginning the long cycle that will end with the films release on June 24th 2011. The new chapter in the Cars saga will follow the adventures of racing superstar Lightening McQueen and his bumbling tow truck buddy Mater, as they speed their way towards international intrigue. It's important to note that this teaser trailer wasn't expected to be seen until the DVD release of Toy Story 3 on November 2nd. What exactly prompted it's sudden release to the internet is unknown.
