DisFanReview's man in Orlando, Mikey from MagicCityMayhem.com was on hand when this very unique Vinylmation set was released at Walt Disney World's D Street in Downtown Disney this morning. The "Trade City USA" set that was supposed to be available during the Trade City USA event...last month. Unfortunately, it was postponed. Which lead to a situation that is unusual for a Vinylmation drop like this. There was virtually no one waiting in line when the store opened. That isn't too surprising considering the revised release date for this set wasn't announced until two days ago. The set is actually pretty sweet when you consider all the extras that are included. 2 awesome "junior" figures(signed on the bottom, which is a first for Vinylmation Jr's) and an ultra collectible Blue Bird Vinylmation pin. This set is limited to only 750 pieces, so you better get a move on, if you want to make this part of your collection.
Over the next couple weeks you'll want to watch for our coverage of more big Vinylmation drops. Next week Disney releases the 3" Park Series #5 and the very first 9" figure from Holiday Series #2 which will be this really spooky Halloween figure. This is also a very limited release of only 800 pieces.
