San Diego Comic Con gets underway tomorrow and with it the official marketing campaign for MARVEL Studios upcoming mega movie The Avengers. There had been some speculation as to how much presence Disney & MARVEL would have at the annual pop culture fest given that the two studio's had announced that they would not be attending the convention. The intention was to move their annual presence at SDCC to Disney's own fan convention, The D23 Expo which gets underway August 19th in Anaheim Ca.
However, the folks at MARVEL are making sure that the general public know that the place The Avengers really belong is at San Diego Comic Con. Which is made evident by the fact that today MARVEL launched The Avengers official website and included this downloadable teaser poster. Don't worry, with Comic Con shifting into overdrive tomorrow, this is probably only the tip of the Avengers news iceberg.
