Here is the truth. You wont be able to do and see everything at the 2011 D23 Expo. It isn't possible. All of the MANY branches of the Walt Disney Company under one roof, On three separate floors, over the course of the three days. However, if you want to make sure you see the most of what you want, you will need to plan ahead. Thankfully, Disney has released the Guidebook for the 2011 Expo. Inside you will find the full schedule of events, show floor maps and tons of information about everything going on at the EXPO.
Planning for an event like this is no joke. The shear size of the event can seem daunting. I mean, take a look at these maps! So much Disney goodness spread out over a ridiculous amount of square footage.
So, If you are headed to the Expo make sure you spend a good amount of time researching and planning your D23 Expo Experience. Also, make sure you have a back up plan. The truth of the matter is you will not get into every panel & presentation you want to get into, so make sure you have a 'plan B.'
Last but no least... HYDRATE. Dehydration is an unbelievably common occurrence at events like these. DRINK WATER! Drink lots and lots of it. It's just one of those crazy things about Conventions and Expo's that you never realize. You are so preoccupied by the magic & excitement around you that you fail to realize your body's needs.
