As we saw last week with The Avengers landing on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, The Avengers buzz machine is kicking into low gear. There were some great images released in that issue, but Disney has just released these awesome new images that totally amp up the coolness level. While these images are pretty darn cool, they will only satisfy the hard core fans for so long. How long until we see a full length trailer?
Perhaps we wont have to wait too long for a trailer for The Avengers. It was just announced this week that MARVEL Studio's will be revealing new footage from the film at the New York Comic Con on October 15th. Will this translate to new video content on the net? All we can do is hope at this point. Needless to say, there will be a lot of cool Avengers stuff coming from Disney & MARVEL in the weeks and months ahead of the films May 4th 2012 theatrical release.

We also have a couple of behind-the-scenes photos which also feature Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man and director Joss Whedon.
