In episode 4-6 of the fourth season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, we have seen one episode centered on Jar Jar Binks & two episode centered on the bumbling droid duo of C3PO & R2D2. While many Star Wars fans may find the prospect of three episodes with very little in the way battle carnage, blaster fire and explosions to be a little boring... the past three episodes have been anything but. In fact, all six episodes of the this hit Cartoon Network show's fourth season have been so well written, animated and executed that it is difficult to pick a favorite.
There is a certain pattern to The Clone Wars. When you have a three episode story arch that is heavy on battle carnage and destruction like the Water War story (episodes 1-3), they are typically followed up by three episodes that are more character driven with a slightly cerebral vibe. After last nights rerun of Prisoners(4-3) viewers got a glimpse at the beginning of a new cycle! Next Friday's episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is titled Darkness On Umbara and, as you will see from this episode preview, the carnage is back on in the Clone Wars.
