One has to wonder if even George Lucas truly appreciates the importance of author Timothy Zahn. For the original generation of kids that grew up with the first Star Wars trilogy, he came a long just in time. After Return Of The Jedi, Star Wars fans who felt abandoned by Lucas, had to wait nearly eight years until they had any real Star Wars content to consume. The first new Star Wars story in years was Timothy Zahn's Heir To The Empire. The book was the first in a trilogy that had a significant impact on fans and even Star Wars canon. Zahn's Heir To The Empire was the first time the capital world of the Galactic Republic, Courascant, was ever mentioned by name.
Heir To The Empire was also the first time fans met evil redhead turned Mrs. Skywalker, Mara Jade. Now, Zahn has an all new book staring Mara Jade called Choices Of One. Zahn will be at The Writer’s Stop located inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios park from 1 – 3 pm on October 14th 2011. Theme park admission is required to get into the event. Zahn will only be signing Choices Of One and the 20th Anniversary edition of Heir To The Empire, both of which will be on sale. That being the case, Zahn will not be signing any outside items.
