Well, Muppet Madness is upon us. Last night the films star Jason Segel appeared on the Jay Leno show to promote the film, and Kermit The Frog is currently on the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly. To add to the frenzied excitement, Disney has release several new clips from the film. So, for the second week in a row, we treat you to heaping helping of Muppetty goodness.
If you have been following along with the films marketing, this clip should already be familiar to you. It's the same clip that appeared in the first trailer, and is an edited version of the footage shown at the D23 Expo. This was the clip shown on last nights Tonight Show with Jay Leno when Jason Segel stopped by.
In this clip, Kermit and company are trying to reunite all the Muppets. So, they rely on a tried and true method that has been very successful in accomplishing huge tasks in very little time. The montage.
In our final clip, stressed out network executive Veronica is convinced that the Muppets need a celebrity host for their show. Kermit, doesn't agree. This clip is also proof that actress Rashida Jones(NBC's Parks & Rec) has a much bigger part in the film than we had first guessed.
When Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, and friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater, they help Kermit reunite the Muppets to stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater.
