Well boys & girls, the Star Wars foray in to 3D begins today. Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace is in theaters and now we will see how willing the general public is to see what is widely regarded as the weakest film in the Star Wars cinematic saga. However, most fans can agree that the single coolest element of Episode I is the presence of the one and only Darth Maul. Totally exploiting this fact, Disney Parks released their annual amalgam of Star Wars & Disney that is the Star Wars Weekends logo. Previous years have seen, Jedi Mickey battling Boba Fett or Darth Vader, but this year is all about 'the Duck.'
The image was designed by Tyler Dumas and Casey Jones from the Disney Design Group and released via the Disney Parks blog. The article also featured images of some of the cool merchandise that will be available at this years events. Star Wars Weekends returns May 18 and will run through June 10th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, inside Walt Disney World in Orlando.
