'Epic Mickey 2: The Power Of Two' Expands To PlayStation and XBox

When Epic Mickey premiered on the Nintendo Wii back in 2010, the game was praised by fans and critics alike. They loved the story. They loved the game play. They even loved the return of Walt Disney's long lost character Oswald The Lucky Rabbit. However, there was one sizable complaint.

Fans were extremely bothered by the fact that Epic Mickey was exclusive to the Nintendo Wii and was not available on some of the more popular gaming platforms. Many believe that this was a likely contributor to the games glowing buzz but lackluster sales.

Yesterday, Disney Interactive announced an all new sequel, Epic Mickey 2: The Power Of Two. This time around, Oswald takes a starring role and even more players will be along for the ride. Epic Mickey 2 will be available on Nintendo Wii, but will also be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The game also promises to be the first ever video game musical. In Epic Mickey 2, you will find characters bursting into song at opportune moments. With the help of Emmy award-winning composer James Dooley and lyricist Mike Himelstein it has a decent chance of being a monumental success. Epic Mickey 2: The Power Of Two hits stores on October 1st, 2012 and is currently available for pre-order via Amazon.com:
