It's a little hard to believe that we are less than six weeks away from the theatrical debut of The Avengers. It seems like it was just yesterday when we were talking with an Avengers production assistant who actually predicted that the film was doomed. Now, after following the production of this film for well over a year, and to finally be this close to release day... Well, it is more than a little weird. Now that we are so close, Disney and MARVEL pulling out all the stops to make sure that everybody knows about what is widely regarded as the biggest comic book movie ever made. As if to prove that exact point, an all new featurette has been released. Sponsored by Norton Antivirus, this all new video takes a behind the scenes look at the films production, includes snippets of new footage and even has a quick interview with the films director Joss Whedon.
Also released today is an all new gallery of 11 images from the film. While the collection of images is mostly unremarkable, there are some great shots of the films main characters like Black Widow(Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye(Jeremy Renner), and Nick Fury(Samuel L. Jackson). The images that really stand out are of Chris Evans as Captain America, as well as some evil brooding by Tom Hiddleston as Loki.

Also released this week are three all new character ad's that have begun airing on Disney XD. These three actually come to us from Disney XD POLAND. These three international ads actually contain brief snippets of footage that appears to be all new. Check em out:
