Everybody is getting in on what is likely to be this summers biggest blockbuster, The Avengers. Yes, even Farmers Insurance has assembled alongside earths mightiest superheroes, and director Roman Coppola to promote the film and, well... sell insurance. The commercial features the return of J.K. Simmons to the Marvel Universe... sort of. Simmons was J. Jonah Jameson in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy. In the commercial Simmons plays the new, and familiar face of Farmers Insurance, as Professor Nathaniel Burke at the University Of Farmers. Aside from the dull insurance side of the story, this campaign has a rather cool angle for the do-it-yourself cosplayers out there. Farmers insurance has posted six different diagrams that detail hoe to make the Avengers costumes from the commercial. Pretty cool stuff.
