While many fanboys have known that Summer 2012 is supposed to be the year of The Avengers... No one bothered to tell Dark Knight Rises director Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros. Because not only are they poised to deliver another mind blowing installment of the Dark Knight Series, but they are likely to deliver the best one yet. With Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon Levit, and Anne Hathaway on board Rises is set to be a monumental story of the breaking of Bat-Man... Which is fitting considering that this will be the last in the series.
Finally Warner bros has released an all new trailer that is stuffed with all new footage!
So, the Nerds, Geeks, and general fans who were already excited for The Avengers, will now be reeling with comic book joy... Because when they see The Avengers this weekend, they will have something just as epic to look forward to. Of course, there is also The Amazing Spider-Man which comes out on July 3rd... Then there is Prometheus, and Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter... and... well, you get the point.

Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar(R) winner Christian Bale ("The Fighter") again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar(R) winner Marion Cotillard ("La Vie en Rose"), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar(R) winner Michael Caine ("The Cider House Rules") plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar(R) winner Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby") reprises the role of Lucius Fox.
