Henry Selick, best known for Disney favorite, Nightmare Before Christmas, had a deal with Disney/Pixar to direct four films. However, Disney has pulled the plug on his current unnamed project. According to an article in Variety, the picture wasn't on schedule creatively or time wise for it's October 2013 release date.
Fortunately for Selick, his other Disney film based on the book, The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman, will not be affected by this change.
