When the teaser trailer for STAR WARS Episode VII: The Force Awakens was released last month fans were treated a glorious 88 seconds of footage that provided audiences with a glimmer of the future that drew heavily on the past. In keeping with that idea, Lucasfilm has released the names of the characters seen in the trailer in a way that hearkens back to what STAR WARS fans remember from the late 1970's and 1980's. During the original trilogy fans became aware of characters like Luke Skywalker and Han Solo through a series of trading cards produced by Topps. Now Entertainment Weekly has teamed with Lucasfilm and Topps to create a virtual series of cards that introduce the characters of The Force Awakens.
