The theatrical posters for these MARVEL films are a pretty big deal. Mainly because, once you see it you will never unsee it. It's gonna be everywhere. In grocery stores, food packaging, and it will eventually be the cover for the DVD and BluRay release. This new poster for Avengers: Age Of Ultron wont be any different. It's actually very similar to the poster for the first Avengers film. In fact, the above domestic poster is pretty cool with the chaos in the sky and Vision hiding in plain sight..
Until you take a good look at the international poster below...
At first glance the two posters look nearly identical. except that the insane mess of debris and robots is gone and Iron Man is now center stage while Captain America, and any symbolic reference to America or any other star spangled imagery are literally over shadowed. Not surprising since the International poster is meant to appeal to European and Asian regions. As well as the globes second largest movie going market in Russia who wouldn't necessarily identify with the Captain up front.
